Imago Dei Ministries is a Christ centered organization dedicated to equipping the church to effectively communicate freedom from sexual and relational brokenness.

Imago Dei Ministries upholds heterosexuality and the heterosexual covenant as God’s creative intent for humanity, and therefore views any sexual expression outside the heterosexual marriage covenant as contrary to God’s will. Choosing to fulfill one’s God given need for love and completion with inordinate sexual and relational bonding is considered destructive, as it distorts God’s intent for the individual and it therefore sinful.

Instead, Christ offers a healing alternative to those broken by sexual and relational brokenness. Imago Dei upholds redemption for the sexually broken person as the process whereby sin’s power is broken and the individual is freed to know how to experience true identity as male or female created in God’s image—through Christ and His church. This process entails the freedom to grow into healthy sexual and relational wholeness.
